Dungeons & Dragons has exploded in popularity in the last few years. We've all heard a little about it be it through word of mouth, maybe on Youtube or just spotting some weird dice at a local game store. With life being as hectic as it is, taking that first step can be daunting when wanting to pick up the hobby. But fret not, this is where I come in. I go by Jay, I've been a GM for 10 years and am now here to help you take the plunge into this amazing hobby, tell some great tales and make some friends along the way. No matter who you are, you can be certain that you'll find a safe enviorment here to flex your creative muscles, bring your characters to life and send them on a myriad of different quest. Come and join other fledgling adventurers at the table as we prepare to embark on the first of many, many quests. There is always room for one more at the table!
For our game, here are the basic things you will need: - A computer, laptop, or PC. A netbook or Chromebook will not work. A tablet or phone will not work. - A mic, headset, or headphones with mic included. If your laptop has a mic, you can use that. - Headphones are required. This is to ensure minimum background noise and echoes for all players. - A stable internet connection - A quiet, distraction free place to play. If you have pets, consider putting them in another room. If you have children, arrange for child care. If you have other family, friends, or roommates at your location, consider playing alone in your room with the door closed, or some other private space
